With a network of 15 crematoria and 4 funeral agencies in France, Esthima announces today the acquisition of its 16th crematorium in Cuers. Created in 1992 (formerly AVAC), this crematorium meets the expectations and needs of families and vets in the South-East of France : personalised funeral services, farewell ceremonies, wide choice of urns, home care, virtual cemetery, etc.
The crematorium of Cuers : a warm welcome & the opportunity to say a last goodbye
From the taking charge of the body to the return of the urn, the team of 6 persons of the crematorium of Cuers (from the funeral hostess to the collection agents) accompanies owners in the choice of the cremation service the most adapted to their needs.
On the day of the cremation, the owners are welcomed by the crematorium team in a peaceful place are given all the time they need to bid farewell to their pet in complete privacy. If they wish, they can also attend the beginning of the cremation. The duration of the cremation itself varies from 1 hour to 2.5 hours depending on the size of the animal. The ashes are then given directly to the families, in the case of a private cremation. They then have the choice of scattering them in a private place or taking them home to be kept, buried or scattered.
On average, nearly 90 cremations are performed each day.
“Our pets occupy a considerable place in society and especially in our homes: they are more than an animal, they are a member of our family. Not surprisingly, the loss of a pet is as painful as the loss of a loved one! More than one out of two people feel insufficiently accompanied and informed concerning the end of life of their pet. At the Cuers crematorium, our main ambition is to offer our services to the families of the South-East of France looking for a solution for the funeral of their animal, whether or not they regularly attend a veterinary clinic.” Fabien Kolor, director of the crematorium
